When this process encounters difficulties, some children can struggle to filter, interpret or modulate sensory stimuli. This may have repercussions on learning, behavior and autonomy, making participation in school activities more complex, playful and daily activities.
The sensory integration room is a space designed to offer the child a safe and stimulating environment, full of specific equipment such as swings, climbing walls, mattresses, hammocks, ramps and skateboard, fitball, swimming pool with balls.
